The Qin MAX measures 4,866 mm long, 1,880 mm wide, and 1,495 mm tall, with a 2,820-mm wheelbase. That makes it a conventional midsize sedan rather than a crossover like the Tesla Model Y or Hyundai Ioniq 5. Its format may appeal to buyers who prioritize a lower driving position and a traditional trunk over SUV versatility.
Official Chinese pricing ranges from RMB 99,900 to RMB 143,900, equivalent to approximately $13,900 to $20,000 at an exchange rate of $1 to RMB 7.2. The pricing is for China and does not indicate likely US or European pricing, where taxes, compliance costs, logistics, and distribution would apply.

Flash Charging and Battery Technology
The Qin MAX EV uses BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery. Under normal-temperature conditions, BYD says it can charge from 10% to 70% in five minutes and reach 97% in nine minutes. At temperatures as low as -30°C, charging takes only three minutes longer, according to the company.
BYD also says the battery passed a nail-penetration test after 500 flash-charging cycles. Its flash-charging network covers 7,018 stations in 325 Chinese cities.
ADAS, Cabin and Chassis
An optional God’s Eye B LiDAR-based ADAS package costs RMB 12,000, or about $1,700. The God’s Eye 5.0 system is described as having reinforcement-learning capabilities for congested urban roads, narrow-road passing, and complex automated parking.
The cabin includes BYD’s “Didi Xia” AI super-agent and a DiLink infotainment system capable of handling fragmented natural-language commands and fuzzy searches for movies and music. Standard comfort equipment includes a 10-point massage, ventilation, and heating for both front seats.
The suspension uses front double-ball-joint MacPherson struts and a rear five-link independent setup. BYD also equips the car with its DiSus-C intelligent damping system and TBC high-speed tire-blowout stability system.
